Nicholas M. Luck – Update: CMTO Confirms Investigation into Additional Criminal Charges, Remains Not Permitted to Practise

TORONTO, January 3, 2025 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating Nicholas M. Luck, who was charged with nine additional counts of sexual assault on December 12, 2024, after initially being charged with three counts of sexual assault in October 2024.
Pursuant to an Undertaking signed with the Durham Regional Police, Nicholas M. Luck continues to be not permitted to practise Massage Therapy in Ontario.

“We are deeply troubled by the new charges against Mr. Luck,” said Maureen Boon, CMTO’s Registrar and CEO. “CMTO is fully cooperating with the Durham Regional Police as part of our ongoing investigation. Our priority remains reducing abuse and supporting survivors, and we encourage anyone with concerns about registrants to come forward and report them.”
