Nicholas M. Luck Not Permitted to Practise, Under CMTO Investigation due to Sexual Assault Charges

TORONTO, October 28, 2024 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating Nicholas M. Luck, who is charged with three counts of sexual assault.

Pursuant to an Undertaking signed with the Durham Regional Police, Nicholas M. Luck is not permitted to practise Massage Therapy in Ontario.

“CMTO’s priority is protecting the public interest. This registrant being unable to practise Massage Therapy ensures public protection while these sexual assault charges move forward through the criminal justice system. CMTO has commenced an investigation into these allegations, is cooperating with the Durham Regional Police, and thanks them for their efforts in this matter,” said Maureen Boon, CMTO’s Registrar and CEO.
