TORONTO, September 12, 2024 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it has suspended Dylan Larios Bonilla’s Certificate of Registration.

In August 2024, The Ontario Court of Justice found Dylan Larios Bonilla guilty of one count of sexual assault. Following this finding of guilt, CMTO’s Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee has suspended Dylan Larios Bonilla’s Certification of Registration.

Dylan Larios Bonilla is not permitted to practise Massage Therapy in Ontario.

  • Communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a sexual act, contrary to section 288.3(a) of the Penal Code of California;
  • Arranging to meet with a minor with the intent to commit a sexual act, contrary to section 288.4(a)(1) of the Penal Code of California; and
  • Going to the arranged meeting place, contrary to section 288.4(b) of the Penal Code of California.

TORONTO, January 24, 2020 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating one of its registrants, Gerard Rodrigues, who has been charged with six (6) additional counts of sexual assault. Details about the additional charges are available on CMTO’s public register.

Gerard Rodrigues is not currently able to practice Massage Therapy in Ontario. As the result of ongoing CMTO investigations, Gerard Rodrigues’ Certificate of Registration was suspended in January 2020. CMTO is continuing its investigations, and is cooperating with the Peterborough Police Service.

Gerard Rodrigues was practicing in Peterborough, Ontario, and was also charged with one count of assault on January 6, 2020.

As a result of the ongoing investigations, CMTO has issued an interim suspension order that prohibits Andrew Prosperi from practising Massage Therapy in Ontario.

Jessica Jones is not currently able to practise Massage Therapy. As a result of an ongoing investigation, Jessica Jones’ Certificate of Registration was suspended in October 2018.

TORONTO, September 20, 2017 – It has come to the attention of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) that Coel Francis Findlay, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) practising Massage Therapy in Kingston, Ontario, was charged by Kingston Police on September 19, 2017, with sexual assault following a police investigation into his practice as a Massage Therapist.

Coel Francis Findlay has been released on the following bail conditions:

  • Not engage in providing massage services to any person whether for any type of remuneration or not;
  • Not attend his place of employment;
  • Not possess any weapons as defined by the Criminal Code;
  • Not change his address without prior court approval; and
  • Abstain from communicating either directly or indirectly with the client.
