Evan Taylor Not Permitted to Practise, Under CMTO Investigation due to Voyeurism Charge

TORONTO, May 7, 2025 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating Evan Taylor, who is charged with one count of voyeurism by the Port Hope Police Service Criminal Investigative Branch.
Pursuant to an Undertaking signed with CMTO, Evan Taylor is not permitted to practise Massage Therapy in Ontario.

“CMTO’s focus is protecting the public. We are collaborating with law enforcement and conducting our own investigation into the matter. The registrant has signed an Undertaking and cannot legally practice Massage Therapy while this process continues. We take these allegations seriously and will act to uphold safety and accountability,” said Maureen Boon, CMTO’s Registrar and CEO.
