I oppose removing education and graduation year from the public register. In 2022, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario investigated cheating on RMT certification exams, including involvement by candidates from at least one massage therapy program, and even faculty were investigated. This shows that integrity issues in education can occur and that public transparency about where an RMT trained supports informed choices and protects patients.
