The Board approved:

• A 2026 Workplan that will advance CMTO’s new 2026-2030 Strategic Plan Strategic Priorities;
• Staff to seek a spousal exemption so that RMTs can provide Massage Therapy treatment to their spouse without it automatically being considered sexual abuse;
• CMTO’s 2025 unaudited financial statements;
• Rescinding the Temporary Registration for RMTs/MTs for National and International Sporting Events in Ontario Policy;
• A redirection to move away from the pre-approved CMTO rebrand investigation to instead focus on a website refresh, communications content update, and exploration of a potential new operating name; and
• Changes to CMTO’s policies and Standards of Practice as part of a consolidation effort to make regulatory documents more streamlined and accessible.
