CMTO’s Board met on March 25, 2025. The complete meeting package is available on the CMTO website and the livestream recording is available on CMTO’s YouTube channel. Highlights from the meeting are below.

  • CMTO welcomed three new members to the Board for a three-year term. Congratulations and thanks to:
    • Lauren Carnegie, RMT, District 3
    • Charles Gollob, RMT, District 8
    • Matthew Gordon, Public Member
  • The Board approved the:
    • 2024 annual committee reports.
    • Preliminary 2024 year-end financial report.
    • 2024 year-end work plan and strategic goals summary, and KPIs.
    • 2025 work plan.
    • New Standard of Practice: Collecting Personal Health Information (PHI) from Clients, which will come into effect in the coming months.
    • Proposed by-law amendments associated with CMTO’s expanded participation in the Health Professions Discipline Tribunals (HPDT).
  • The Board received an update on the work being done to implement recommendations from an audit of CMTO’s digital strategy.
  • The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee presented an update on its work during its inaugural year as well as a summary of the current ongoing work and future initiatives.
