Matthew Moloney – Not Permitted to Practise, Charged with One Count of Sexual Assault

TORONTO, June 9, 2026 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating Matthew Moloney, who has been charged with one count of sexual assault by the Toronto Police Service.
Pursuant to an Undertaking signed with CMTO, Matthew Moloney is not permitted to practise Massage Therapy in Ontario.

“CMTO takes all allegations of sexual abuse seriously. We are cooperating fully with the Toronto Police Service and will conduct our own investigation,” said Maureen Boon, CMTO’s Registrar and CEO.
