The Federation of Massage Therapy Regulatory Authorities of Canada (FOMTRAC) is seeking qualified consultants to submit proposals to modernize the national competency profile for Canada’s Registered Massage Therapists/Massage Therapists (RMTs/MTs).

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting an independent review of the current competency profile and identifying gaps.
• Engaging stakeholders through focus groups, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
• Drafting and finalizing a new competency profile that reflects contemporary practices and evidence-informed best practices.
• Supporting the publication and presentation of project findings through journals, webinars, and conferences.

The project will be conducted in English, virtually, and will run from Q1 to Q4 2025.
