CMTO’s 2024 registration renewal is now open. All RMTs should renew their registration by November 1, 2023, online through the Registrant Portal.

CMTO’s Board approved the following fees for 2024:

• General Certificate (GC) – $915
• Inactive Certificate (IN) – $457.50

The completed renewal form and payment must be received by 11:59 p.m. on November 1, 2023. Renewals received after that date are subject to a late fee of $100.

Professional Liability Insurance

RMTs with a General Certificate must maintain professional liability insurance at all times. Since last year’s renewal period, the way RMTs provide CMTO with information about their professional liability insurance has changed. On the renewal form, you are asked to affirm a series of statements about your insurance. This process replaces the need to log in to your profile and enter detailed policy information.

At the beginning of each year, CMTO will conduct an annual audit of 3% of General Certificate holders who will be required to submit a copy of their Certificate of Insurance.
