Ayman Alkassem Not Permitted to Practise, Under CMTO Investigation due to Sexual Assault Charge

TORONTO, June 30, 2025 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating Ayman Alkassem, who is charged with one count of sexual assault and has a bail order prohibiting him from practising Massage Therapy.

“CMTO is committed to public safety. We are cooperating fully with the Halton Regional Police Service and conducting our own investigation. This individual is not permitted to practise Massage Therapy while this charge moves through the criminal justice system,” said Maureen Boon, CMTO’s Registrar and CEO.
