I oppose removing the educational institution and graduation year from the public register. In 2022, CMTO publicly reported investigating cheating in the RMT certification examinations, including concerns involving candidates connected to at least one massage therapy program. This demonstrates that educational integrity issues can arise. Maintaining transparency about where and when an RMT was trained supports informed patient choice, accountability, and public trust in the profession.
