CMTO Confirms Investigation into Sexual Assault Charge

TORONTO, December 21, 2016 – It has recently come to the attention of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) that Dumitru Tornea, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) practising Massage Therapy in Toronto, Ontario, has been arrested and charged with sexual assault.

On December 20, 2016, CMTO appointed an investigator, and has commenced an investigation into these allegations. CMTO is cooperating with the Toronto Police Service in their investigation.
