CMTO is conducting a system update to the registrant portal and the public register (‘Find an RMT’). Once complete, the update will provide an improved user experience for applicants, Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs/MTs) and their clients. The system update is expected to be complete on July 23, 2021.

What this Means for You

Registration requests

Registration requests (e.g., applications for registration, resignations, address changes, name changes, professional liability insurance updates, reinstatements, letters of standing, etc.) cannot be processed at this time. All registration requests will be processed shortly after July 23, in the order in which they were received.

The public register

Information displayed on an RMT’s registration (found under the “General” and “Practice Locations” tabs once a name is searched) is information that was captured in the system as of July 12, 2021.

Some professional conduct matters (found under the “Additional Details” tab and which includes investigation and discipline outcomes) may be updated in real time.
