Michel Sarkis – Update: CMTO Confirms Investigation into Additional Criminal Charges

TORONTO, October 14, 2020 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating former Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) Michel Sarkis (formerly Michel McSayghis), who was charged with four (4) additional counts of sexual assault. Details about the additional criminal charges are available on CMTO’s public register.
Michel Sarkis is not currently able to practice Massage Therapy in Ontario. He resigned his Certificate of Registration on October 2, 2020 (while under investigation). CMTO’s investigations regarding Michel Sarkis’ conduct remain ongoing.
CMTO is cooperating with the York Regional Police on this matter.
