Ivo Borisov Ivanov – CMTO Suspends Certificate of Registration, Charged with Sexual Assault

TORONTO, August 11, 2025 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) has suspended Ivo Borisov Ivanov’s Certificate of Registration after he was charged with one count of sexual assault by the Niagara Regional Police. Ivo Borisov Ivanov is not permitted to practise Massage Therapy in Ontario.
“Suspending Mr. Ivanov’s registration reflects CMTO’s commitment to act swiftly against sexual assault charges to protect the public,” said Maureen Boon, CMTO’s Registrar and CEO.
