Gerard Rodrigues – Update: CMTO Confirms Investigation into Additional Charges

TORONTO, January 24, 2020 – The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) confirms that it is investigating one of its registrants, Gerard Rodrigues, who has been charged with six (6) additional counts of sexual assault. Details about the additional charges are available on CMTO’s public register.

Gerard Rodrigues is not currently able to practice Massage Therapy in Ontario. As the result of ongoing CMTO investigations, Gerard Rodrigues’ Certificate of Registration was suspended in January 2020. CMTO is continuing its investigations, and is cooperating with the Peterborough Police Service.
