We’re pleased to present the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)’s 2020 Annual Report.

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, CMTO made progress in carrying through with its 2019-2021 Strategic Plan commitments. In 2020, as one of the most notable achievements, CMTO introduced new Standards of Practice (2022) that will help ensure clients receive safe, quality, and effective Massage Therapy care for years to come. CMTO is proud of and grateful for the care and services that Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs/MTs) provided under challenging conditions, and their commitment to safety.

We will carry forward the lessons learned from 2020 and work together with our partners in healthcare, RMTs and other stakeholders to further strengthen the delivery of quality Massage Therapy care for all Ontarians.
