CMTO is developing a new strategic plan for 2023-2025. In the development phase, we conducted an environmental scan to help us better understand the current state of Massage Therapy regulation, and to hear your perspectives.

The environmental scan was conducted between July and August. Through an online survey, interviews, and focus groups we heard from 2,455 participants. A vast majority of those who participated were RMTs. We also heard feedback from Massage Therapy clients, students, educators, employers, insurers and other government and regulatory agencies.

Findings from the scan helped inform the direction of the new, multi-year Strategic Plan for 2023-2025. We will continue updating you on this process.
