STRiVE – What’s Next?
On September 5, 2019, STRiVE, the Quality Assurance Program launched with a warm welcome from the profession.
Designed to support all Massage Therapists (MTs or RMTs) be the best they can be, while also ensuring compliance with standards, STRiVE is comprised of three mandatory components for 2019; an E-Learning Module, a Self-Assessment and development of a Learning Plan.
Thank you to the RMTs who met the deadline and submitted their professional requirements by November 30, 2019. The College will be following up with RMTs who did not meet the deadline.
Recognizing the importance of engaging in continuing professional development on an annual basis, STRiVE will continue to expand in coming years, with the introduction of additional components to support success.
All RMTs will be required to complete specified components between September and November 30, 2020. Additional details about these components will be shared in coming months.
In the meantime, all RMTs are invited to access the STRiVE Platform at any time throughout the year to record their professional achievements and enter their learning activity updates.
