Reminder: Professional Liability Insurance Process
RMTs holding a General Certificate of Registration are required to maintain the amount of professional liability insurance as specified under CMTO’s By-Law No.10. During renewal, General Certificate holders will be asked to confirm their compliance with this requirement. RMTs with General Certificates are no longer required to update their profile with insurance information but must continue to hold the required insurance.
In early 2024, CMTO will conduct its annual audit of three percent of General Certificate holders, who will be asked to submit a copy of their Certificate of Insurance.
