To:          All Massage Therapists who qualify to vote in Electoral Districts 2, 5, 7 and the By-election in District 4

The election in Electoral Districts 2, 5, 7 and 4 (by-election) has been set for January 11, 2018 in accordance with By-law No. 2. For reference, Electoral Districts 2, 4, 5 and 7 are defined as follows:

  • District 2, composed of the territorial district of Nipissing, the counties of Renfrew, Hastings, Prince Edward, Frontenac and Lanark, the united counties of Lennox and Addington, Leeds and Grenville, Prescott and Russell, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and the regional municipality of Ottawa-Carleton;
  • District 4 (by-election), composed of City of Toronto west from Yonge Street;
  • District 5, composed of the counties of Simcoe, Dufferin, Wellington, Halton and Peel;
  • District 7, composed of Academic members;

If you are interested in participating in the processes of self-regulation to ensure that Massage Therapists will continue to serve the public interest through the provision of high-quality, safe and ethical Massage Therapy care, please consider running for Council.

The nomination form, signed and completed by all nominating parties indicated on it, must be received at the College office on or before 4:00 PM EST on Friday, November 24th, 2017.
